In this study, an iPSC line was derived from a 69-year-old female patient with sporadic AD who carried APOE3/4 allele. This iPSC line will be valuable for investigating the underlying mechanisms of AD and for drug screening purposes.
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an age-related and progressive neurodegenerative disease. In this study, we generated an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line from the dermal fibroblasts of a 69-year-old female patient carrying APOE & POUND;3/& POUND;4 allele and diagnosed with sporadic AD. The iPSC line will be a useful tool for investigating the pathogenesis mechanisms and for drug tests in AD.
