Guanhui Zhao et al.

Summary: This study reported an ECL analytical model using zinc-based metal-organic frameworks of ruthenium hybrid (RuZn MOFs) as the signal emitter for immunoassay. The quenching effect of different noble metal nanoparticles on ECL was investigated. Pd@Ptoct core-shell showed higher activity and improved durability, leading to enhanced quenching ECL. Electrochemical ratiometric dual-signal immunoassay for accurate detection of carcinoembryonic antigen in clinical serum based on rGO-Pd@Au-Thi and Chi-Fc-Au

Yuan-Yuan Tan et al.

Summary: In order to prevent and diagnose carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) at an early stage, it is necessary to develop more accurate detection methods. This study constructed a new sensitive electrochemical ratiometric immunosensor for CEA determination using chitosan-ferrocenecarboxaldehyde-gold nanospheres (ChiFc-Au) and reduced graphene oxide-Pd@Au nanocomposites-thionine (rGO-Pd@Au-Thi). The immunosensor utilized dual-signal output to generate two electrical signals (IFc and IThi) that were positively correlated with CEA concentration. Compared to other immunosensors, the proposed immunosensor exhibited a wider linear range and a lower detection limit, making it suitable for CEA measurement in human serum samples.
