Design and Optimization of a BAW Magnetic Sensor Based on Magnetoelectric Coupling

Wanchun Ren et al.

Summary: In this work, the design of BAW magnetoelectric (ME) sensor is improved by considering energy loss suppression and energy conversion efficiency enhancement. Finite element analysis and experimental testing are conducted to evaluate the performance and soft magnetism. The sensor design is optimized by resonance-enhanced ME coupling, achieving good performance when a direct current bias magnetic field is applied.

A superconductor/TMR composite magnetic sensor for pico-Tesla magnetic field detection

Kun Sun et al.

Summary: A highly sensitive composite magnetic sensor combining superconductor and tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) was developed and manufactured to detect weak magnetic fields at low frequencies. The optimized design of the TMR unit and the key structural parameters of the superconducting flux transformation amplifier (SFTA) were determined to reduce noise level and enhance magnetic field magnification factor. The experimental results showed that the magnetic field sensitivity reached a record level, demonstrating the potential for weak magnetic field detection.

ZnO Thin Films Growth Optimization for Piezoelectric Application

Vincent Polewczyk et al.

Summary: By optimizing the fabrication process, the surface roughness of ZnO thin films can be reduced, the crystalline quality improved, and a good piezoelectric response maintained. Research shows that deposition with 75% O2 gas and thermal treatment at appropriate temperatures can achieve optimal results.
