Xue Wang et al.

Summary: A novel lauric acid/modified boron nitriding nanosheets-sodium sulfate composite phase change material was fabricated using vacuum impregnation, with the introduction of sodium sulfate to improve the porosity and thermal conductivity. The material exhibited a load capacity of 83.5 wt% for lauric acid and a thermal conductivity of 0.744 W/(m.K), which was 196.4% higher than that of pure lauric acid. Jie Lv et al.

Summary: In this study, nanofibrous Kevlar aerogel containing paraffin and deposited with polypyrrole (PPY-KNF/PF) was successfully fabricated for multi-energy complementary applications. The structure, morphology, and photo/electro-thermal conversion ability of PPY-KNF/PF, as well as the effect of confinement on the latent heat storage capacity of composites without PPY (KNF/PF), were investigated. The results showed that PF was induced to the interface of nanofibers and formed a three-dimensional porous structure. The deposition of PPY had no effect on the structure and morphology of KNF/PF, and the PPY-KNF/PF80 displayed good shape stability and high latent heat storage ability. Moreover, the composite exhibited electrothermal and active photothermal conversion properties, making it suitable for use in situations with insufficient solar energy.
