f0(1370) Controversy from Dispersive Meson-Meson Scattering Data Analyses

J. R. Pelaez et al.

Summary: We establish the existence of the long-debated f(0)(1370) resonance in meson-meson scattering data using novel dispersive analyses. Our method relies on forward dispersion relations, which are applicable to generic inelastic resonances. We find the pole of f(0)(1370) at (1245 +/- 40) - i(300(-70)(+30)) MeV in pi pi scattering. Additionally, we observe a pole at (1380(-60)(+70)) - i(220(-70)(+80)) MeV in pi pi -> K (K) over bar over bar data analysis with partial-wave dispersion relations. However, there is still a tension between the pole parameters from the pi pi and K (K) over bar channels, likely due to data.

Analysis on the composite nature of the light scalar mesons f0(980) and a0(980)

Ze-Qiang Wang et al.

Summary: This study investigates the composition and importance of the x-x- ??? KK?? and x-ri ??? KK?? components in the f0(980) and a0(980) resonances. It is found that the meson-meson components dominate in the f0(980) while they are subdominant in the a0(980) resonance. The study also emphasizes the need to distinguish between bare and dressed couplings and widths in the parameterization.

Scalar isoscalar mesons and the scalar glueball from radiative J/ψ decays

A. V. Sarantsev et al.

Summary: A coupled-channel analysis of BESIII data on radiative J/psi decays into pi pi, K (K) over bar, eta eta and omega phi was performed to determine the ten isoscalar scalar mesons. The masses, widths, and decay modes of these mesons were determined and interpreted as mainly SU(3)-singlet and mainly octet states. Octet isoscalar scalar states were observed with significant yields only in the 1500-2100MeV mass region.
