Search for the Chiral Magnetic Effect via Charge-Dependent Azimuthal Correlations Relative to Spectator and Participant Planes in Au plus Au Collisions at √SNN=200 GeV

M. S. Abdallah et al.

Summary: The chiral magnetic effect is a phenomenon of charge separation caused by the imbalanced chirality of quarks in quantum chromodynamics. Experimental measurements are challenging due to background interference, but the sensitivity of the effect to specific planes can help determine the signal. In this study, measurements in Au + Au collisions at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider indicate that the charge separation is consistent with zero in peripheral collisions, while some indication of a finite chiral magnetic effect signal is observed in midcentral collisions, but significant residual background effects may still be present.

Search for the chiral magnetic effect with isobar collisions at √sNN=200 GeV by the STAR Collaboration at the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider

M. S. Abdallah et al.

Summary: By performing a blind analysis on a large data sample of isobar collisions, the STAR Collaboration found no evidence of the chiral magnetic effect (CME). Differences in multiplicity and flow harmonics suggest that the CME background varies between different species.

Measurements of mixed harmonic cumulants in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN=5.02 TeV

Summary: This paper measures correlations between moments of different flow coefficients in Pb-Pb collisions, including second moments of both two and three flow coefficients, as well as higher-order moments involving v(2) and v(3). The measurements show the potential to explore initial-state fluctuations and probe the nonlinear hydrodynamic response of v(2) and v(3) to their respective initial anisotropy coefficients.

Multisystem Bayesian constraints on the transport coefficients of QCD matter

Summary: By combining different modules, we studied the properties of strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma. Our research emphasizes the importance of validation process and the constraints and sensitivity of experimental data on the viscosity of quark-gluon plasma. We also explored the impact of different model parameters on observational results.
