Improved Physical, thermal, and conductivity strength of ternary nanocomposite films of PVDF/PMMA/GO NPs for electrical applications

Summary: In this study, polymer nanocomposite samples of polyvinylidene fluoride/Polymethyl methacrylate (PVDF/PMMA) mixed with varying concentrations of graphene oxide nanoparticles (GO NP's) were prepared using solution casting and ultrasonic-assisted solution casting processes. The findings reveal that increasing the concentration of GO NP's leads to a reduction in energy gap, an increase in thermal stability, and a higher conductivity in the nanocomposite materials.

The AC conductivity and dielectric permittivity for PVA-treated MWCNT electrolyte composite

Summary: Three-phase polymer electrolyte nanocomposites composed of PVA, MnCl2, and MWCNTs were prepared and their AC electrical conductivity was investigated using impedance spectroscopy. The temperature and frequency-dependent conductivity behavior was explained using the Jonscher's power law. The CBH and QMT models were used to explain the conduction mechanism of the samples at different temperatures.

Raman study of D* band in graphene oxide and its correlation with reduction

Summary: The study investigates the relationship between the intensity ratio of D* to G band and the reduction of graphene oxide (GO) to evaluate the degree of reduction of rGO. Spectral analysis and systematic research revealed a strong linkage between the D*/G intensity ratio and the C/O atomic ratio, which provides an indicator of the quality of rGO for optimal performance in applications.

Hopping frequency and conductivity relaxation of promising chalcogenides: AC conductivity and dielectric relaxation approaches
