Characteristics and factors associated with the position of the haptic after ICL V4C implantation

Weina Tan et al.

Summary: The position of ICL haptic after ICL V4C implantation was assessed using UBM, and its characteristics, associated factors, and relationship with the clinical vault were analyzed. The results showed that the position of ICL haptic was associated with the clinical vault. Quantitative evaluation of ICL haptic position can help clinicians select the appropriate ICL size before surgery and understand the formation of the clinical vault after surgery.

Visual and Refractive Outcomes of a Trifocal Toric Intraocular Lens Implanted in Eyes With High Corneal Astigmatism

Ramon Ruiz-Mesa et al.

Summary: This study analyzed the refractive and visual outcomes of cataract surgery and implantation of a trifocal toric intraocular lens (IOL) in eyes with high corneal astigmatism. The results showed that most eyes achieved good refractive and visual outcomes during a follow-up period of 1 to 5 years.

Agreement of anterior segment measurements between LenStar LS 900 optical biometer and OPD Scan III wavefront aberrometer devices in eyes with cataract

Tong Bao et al.

Summary: This study compared the inter-device agreement of anterior eye segment measurements between LenStar LS 900 optical biometer and OPD Scan III wavefront aberrometer. The results showed excellent agreement between these two devices for measurements of white-to-white distance, angle Alpha, angle Kappa, and pupil size. Therefore, these measurements can be used interchangeably in clinical practice.

Effect of pupil dilation on biometry measurements and intraocular lens power in eyes with high myopia

Wenqun Xi et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects of pupil dilation on ocular parameter measurements and IOL power calculation in highly myopic cataract patients. The results showed that pupil dilation significantly increased anterior chamber depth and white-to-white values, while decreasing lens thickness. Surgeons should consider the effect of pupil dilation on IOL power prediction.
