Image Desnowing via Deep Invertible Separation

Yuhui Quan et al.

Summary: This paper presents a deep learning-based method for single image desnowing, which uses invertible neural networks (INNs) to accurately remove snowflakes while preserving image details. The proposed INN consists of two asymmetric interactive paths for predicting a latent image and a snowflake layer, which can progressively refine features for disentanglement and retain relevant information for image reconstruction. The method outperforms existing ones on benchmark datasets and also has advantages in terms of model size and computational efficiency.

Mutual channel prior guided dual-domain interaction network for single image raindrop removal

Yuanjian Qiao et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel method for single image raindrop removal using mutual channel prior and dual-domain interaction network. By modeling the multi-channel raindrop soft mask, the proposed method can effectively restore the raindrop region and approach the clean image through contrastive discrimination. Extensive experiments show that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in terms of quality and quantity.

Contrastive Learning for Compact Single Image Dehazing

Haiyan Wu et al.

Summary: This study proposes a novel contrastive regularization method for single image dehazing. By utilizing contrastive learning, clear images are used as positive samples and hazy images as negative samples, ensuring that the restored image is closer to the clear image and away from the hazy image in the representation space. Additionally, a compact dehazing network based on an autoencoder framework is developed to balance performance and memory storage, incorporating adaptive mixup operation and dynamic feature enhancement module.
