Summary: This paper explores a new (3 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation for modeling the propagation of ultra-short optical pulses in highly-nonlinear media. Optical soliton solutions and other solutions for the model are found using the extended sinh-Gordon equation expansion method. Stability analysis shows that the model is stable and all solutions are stable and exact. Physical explanations of the obtained solutions are presented using 3D and 2D plots. The reported outcomes are useful for the empirical application of fiber optics.

Summary: In this paper, a combined form of the bilinear Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation and the bilinear extended (2+1)-dimensional shallow water wave equation is proposed, linked with a novel (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear model. Two cases of lump solutions to the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear model are derived, as well as one-lump-multi-stripe and one-lump-multi-soliton solutions. Dynamic behaviors of the solutions are analyzed through numerical simulation. The results contribute to efficient expressions for modeling nonlinear waves and explaining interaction mechanisms in physics.

Summary: This research focuses on a two-dimensional dispersive long wave system for dispersive nonlinear waves on shallow water. The generalized exponential rational function (GERF) method and the new modified generalized exponential rational function (MGERF) method were used to investigate this system. Various solutions were obtained, including trigonometric, hyperbolic, and rational forms, which have broad applications in plasma physics, nonlinear optics, optical fibers, and nonlinear sciences. The presence of arbitrarily chosen constants in these solutions allows for extensive and rich dynamical behavior, including collisions of solitons, breather-like solitons, line-form solitons, multi-solitons, solitary waves, and lump-form solitons.

Summary: This article focuses on the (3+1)-dimensional generalized breaking soliton (GBS) equation, which describes a Riemann wave propagating along three spatial dimensions. The Wronskian solutions are derived for the (3+1)-dimensional GBS equation based on the Plucker relation for determinants. The lump-soliton solutions are generated by virtue of the test function method. Through the Backlund transformation (BT), various solutions are obtained by specifically choosing different seed solutions, including the Wronskian solutions and the interaction solutions. The relation between the Wronskian solutions and interaction solutions is established based on BT. The study of the (3+1)-dimensional GBS equation provides theoretical guidance for solving equations and increases the diversity of exact solutions.

Summary: In this paper, a new two-mode model derived from the (2+1)-dimensional Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov (TMNNV) equation is constructed. The concept of Korsunsky is generalized to derive higher-dimensional two-mode equations. The TMNNV is introduced for the first time, and some of its solutions are identified using two recent and effective schemes. The Kudryashov-expansion method produces bright-dark binary solitons, the modified rational sine and cosine functions produce binary-periodic waves, and the effects of nonlinearity, dispersion, and phase-velocity on the TMNNV are investigated using 2D and 3D graphs. The validity of the obtained solutions is checked by verifying the correctness of the original governing model.

Summary: This study presents a systematic investigation of the soliton interaction dynamics in the Maccari system. By using the bilinear method, explicit first- and second-order solutions are derived, and various soliton interaction phenomena are observed, including soliton resonances, soliton molecules, soliton oscillations, and heterotypic solitons. Importantly, it is found that soliton molecules and heterotypic solitons exhibit different characteristics under different coordinate systems.

Summary: This article introduces a generalized (3+1) dimensional integrable Ito equation and its various solutions. The bilinear form, Backlund transformations, Lax pair, and conservation laws of the equation are derived, indicating its integrability in the Lax sense. Using the trial function method and Mathematica software, N-soliton solutions, breather wave solution, and Lump-Type solution are obtained. The interactions between different functional solutions are analyzed through three-dimensional and contour plots.

Summary: This paper investigates rogue waves arising on the background of two families of periodic standing waves in the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili I (KPI) equation. By nonlinearizing the spectral problem and using the Darboux transformation approach, rogue wave solutions of the KPI equation on the Jacobian elliptic functions dn and cn background are derived. The Darboux transformation is also applied to introduce a trigonometric function periodic background for higher-order rogue waves in the KPI equation. In addition, this paper obtains rogue waves, breathers, and hybrid waves in the KPI equation as a byproduct on the plane wave background. Moreover, the results presented in this paper enrich the dynamics of (2 + 1) dimensional nonlinear wave equations.

The modified rational sine-cosine functions, Kudryashov-expansion, and the Hirota bilinear forms are used as effective schemes. The study reveals novel findings, including the different propagation behavior of these equations and the connection between their solutions, which are expected to be highly significant in the study of propagation solitary wave-solutions for nonlinear equations.

Summary: The generalized Riccati equation mapping method (GREMM) is used to obtain various soliton solutions for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with higher dimension in the regime of anomalous dispersion. The q-homotopy analysis method combined with the Laplace transform (q-HATM) is employed to obtain approximate solutions for bright and dark optical solitons, which are represented as rapidly convergent series. The proposed techniques are demonstrated to be useful, efficient, and reliable mathematical methods for extracting soliton solutions.

Summary: This work focuses on a new (3 + 1) dimensional Painleve integrable fifth-order equation with third-order temporal and spatial dispersions. The complete integrability of the model is demonstrated through the Painleve test, and a rule governing the dispersion relation with spatial variables coefficients is reported. Multiple soliton solutions are obtained using the simplified Hirota's method, with specific cases of dispersion relations and coefficients examined. It is anticipated that the findings of this work will contribute to applications in solitary waves theory, particularly in models with third-order temporal dispersion.
