Shadow and weak deflection angle of extended uncertainty principle black hole surrounded with dark matter

Reggie C. Pantig et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the possible effects of dark matter on a Schwarzschild black hole with the correction of extended uncertainty principle (EUP), finding that the black hole temperature is independent of any dark matter concentration and a greater dark matter density is needed to have remarkable effects on null orbits.

Hyperbolically symmetric sources in f (R, T) gravity

Z. Yousaf et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the static fluid distributions with hyperbolically symmetric structure in f (R, T) gravity. It observes that the fluid distribution is unavailable near the center of symmetry and suggests using a vacuum cavity to depict this region. The study computes the Tolman mass and mass function, evaluates the structure scalars using the orthogonal splitting of the Riemann tensor, and constructs models for less-complex systems by imposing conditions of conformal flatness and stiff equation of state. The paper also proposes a general hypothesis for obtaining precise solutions through matter-curvature coupling.

Nonlinear electrodynamics effects on the black hole shadow, deflection angle, quasinormal modes and greybody factors

M. Okyay et al.

Summary: In this paper, the effects of nonlinear electrodynamics (NED) on non-rotating black holes are discussed, including various observable and physical properties. It is found that the NED black hole is always surrounded by an event horizon and any magnetic charge is permissible. The black hole gets colder with increasing charge, and the observed shadow radius is strongly affected by the magnetic charge parameter P. The introduction of charge steepens the greybody factor of the black hole.

Spatially Hyperbolic Gravitating Sources in ?-Dominated Era

Z. Yousaf

Summary: This study focuses on the impact of the cosmological constant on hyperbolically symmetric matter configurations in a static background. The influences of such a repulsive character on hyperbolical anisotropic fluids are described. The mass function and its conservation laws are elaborated, and the formation of a Minkowskian core is observed. Several solutions are found, and the negative behavior of energy density during the lambda-dominated regime suggests a direct link to study quantum scenarios.

Dark matter effect on the weak deflection angle by black holes at the center of Milky Way and M87 galaxies

Reggie C. Pantig et al.

Summary: In this paper, the effect of dark matter on the weak deflection angle by black holes at the galactic center is investigated. Three known dark matter density profiles are considered and the positional angles are measured using the Ishihara et al. method. The emergence of apparent divergent terms on the dark matter profiles is found, but they vanish when the distance from the black hole is large. The weak deflection angle varies interestingly with the impact parameter, providing insights into the interaction between dark matter and null particles.

By assuming a cylindrically symmetric irrotational configuration, modified field equations and laws of conservation are derived for Gauss-Bonnet gravity. The particular equation of states is used to illustrate different sectors of the gravastar model. Furthermore, a regular solution is obtained and graphs are used to demonstrate various important characteristics.

Summary: The main goal of this project is to investigate the gravitational lensing by asymptotically flat black holes in the context of Horndeski theory in weak field limits. The study utilizes the Gauss-Bonnet theorem and Gibbons-Werner technique to calculate the deflection angle of photons, and examines the influence of plasma medium on this effect. The research also explores the graphical impact of deflection angle on asymptotically flat black holes in both plasma and non-plasma medium.

Matter-antimatter asymmetry induced by non-linear electrodynamics

H. B. Benaoum et al.

Summary: This study proposes an economical model based on nonlinear electrodynamics fields to address cosmological problems such as the absence of the initial cosmological singularity, early acceleration of the Universe, and matter-antimatter asymmetry. The model shows that the Universe undergoes early acceleration into a radiation era with the absence of singularities in energy density, pressure, and curvature in early stages. Baryon asymmetry is generated by the nonlinearity parameter beta in this scenario, with successful gravitational baryogenesis obtained for different model parameter values.
