Stability criteria for memristor-based delayed fractional-order Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with uncertainties

R. Vijay Aravind et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the ML stability analysis problem of memristor-based fractional-order Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with time delays and uncertainties. Sufficient conditions are derived based on fractional-order Lyapunov direct approach and differential inclusion theory, and expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The validity and efficacy of the obtained theoretical results are demonstrated by numerical example and simulation results.

Unified Analysis on the Global Dissipativity and Stability of Fractional-Order Multidimension-Valued Memristive Neural Networks With Time Delay

Jianying Xiao et al.

Summary: In this article, unified criteria for the global dissipativity and stability of delayed fractional-order systems of multidimension-valued memristive neural networks (FSMVMNNs) are analyzed. By establishing a unified model, applying the Lyapunov method, and solving mathematical difficulties, the derived criteria are shown to have advantages in smaller calculation, lower conservatism, more diversity, and higher flexibility. Two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and improvements of the theoretical results.

Finite-time Mittag-Leffler synchronization of fractional-order complex-valued memristive neural networks with time delay

Guan Wang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the synchronization problem of fractional-order complex-valued memristive neural networks with time delay without dividing the complex-valued systems into two real-valued ones. A novel complex-valued feedback controller is designed based on the complex-valued sign function to study such systems. Using the framework of Filippov solution, differential inclusion theory and Lyapunov stability theorem, the finite-time Mittag-Leffler synchronization and global asymptotic synchronization of FCVMNNs with time delay are achieved, improving and enriching existing results. Simulation examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the obtained conclusions.

Finite-Time Synchronization of Complex-Valued Memristive-Based Neural Networks Via Hybrid Control

Tianhu Yu et al.

Summary: The article explores the finite-time synchronization problem for master-slave complex-valued memristive neural networks. A novel Lyapunov-function based stability criterion with impulsive effects is proposed for designing the decentralized finite-time synchronization controller. The sufficient synchronization condition provides not only the settling time but also the attractive domain with respect to impulsive gain, average impulsive interval, and initial values. Two examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the hybrid control strategy.

Finite-Time Synchronization of Uncertain Fractional-Order Delayed Memristive Neural Networks via Adaptive Sliding Mode Control and Its Application

Tianyuan Jia et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the finite-time synchronization of uncertain fractional-order memristive neural networks (FMNNs) with leakage and discrete delays, considering the impacts of uncertain parameters and external disturbances. A fractional-order adaptive terminal sliding mode control scheme (FATSMC) is designed to estimate the upper bounds of unknown external disturbances effectively. The finite-time synchronization of the master-slave FMNNs has been achieved and the corresponding synchronization criteria and explicit expression of settling time (ST) are obtained. A numerical example and a secure communication application are provided to demonstrate the validity of the results.

Adaptive Synchronization of Fractional-Order Complex-Valued Neural Networks With Time-Varying Delays

Meng Hui et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the adaptive synchronization of fractional-order complex-valued neural networks with time-varying delays (FOCVNNTDs). Two novel fractional-order differential inequalities with time delays are established, which extend the Halanay inequality. By using a novel adaptive controller based on these inequalities, the complete synchronization and quasi-projective synchronization of FOCVNNTDs are achieved. A non-decomposition method is adopted to study the adaptive synchronization of FOCVNNTDs, which avoids the complexity of theoretical analysis.

Improved approach to the problem of the global Mittag-Leffler synchronization for fractional-order multidimension-valued BAM neural networks based on new inequalities

Jianying Xiao et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the global Mittag-Leffler synchronization problem for fractional-order multidimension-valued BAM neural networks with general activation functions. The study establishes a unified model for the systems and derives criteria in unified form without decomposition by constructing new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, combining two new inequalities and considering the use of easy controllers. The obtained criteria offer several advantages in terms of higher flexibility, more variety, smaller computation, and lower conservatism.

Pinning multisynchronization of delayed fractional-order memristor-based neural networks with nonlinear coupling and almost-periodic perturbations

Libiao Peng et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the multisynchronization issue for delayed fractional-order memristor-based neural networks with nonlinear coupling and almost-periodic perturbations. It first analyzes the coexistence of multiple equilibrium states for isolated subnetworks and then derives novel algebraic sufficient conditions to ensure multiple locally stable almost periodic orbits or equilibrium points. Finally, a pinning control strategy is designed based on the obtained multistability results to achieve multisynchronization of the coupled networks.

Summary: This paper addresses the problem of finite-time synchronization for a type of fractional-order memristive neural networks (FMNNs). By establishing new inequalities and differential inequalities, designing control schemes, and deriving criteria, the finite-time synchronization of FMNNs is achieved with increased flexibility and reduced conservatism. The theoretical results are verified through numerical simulations.
