The ammonia absorption spectrum between 3900 and 4700 cm-1

P. Cacciani et al.

Summary: Room temperature absorption spectra of ammonia were recorded using high-resolution Fourier transform spectroscopy at different pressures. The rovibrational assignments of ammonia transitions were analyzed, validated, and found to play a crucial role in the absorption at room temperature.

Comb coherence-transfer and cavity ring-down saturation spectroscopy around 1.65 μm: kHz-accurate frequencies of transitions in the 2ν3 band of 12CH4

Ondrej Votava et al.

Summary: Comb Coherence Transfer (CCT) is used to transfer the optical phase of a frequency comb to a diode laser beam, allowing for amplification and frequency tuning. This study demonstrates SI-traceable frequency calibration and comb tooth narrowing, and applies CCT to cavity ring-down spectroscopy for accurate transition frequency measurements.

A collaborative 14NH3 IR spectroscopic analysis at 6000 cm-1

Xinchuan Huang et al.

Summary: In this study, new results for (14)NH(3) in the 5600-6300 cm(-1) region were obtained through combined effort s of laboratory measurements and theoretical analysis. The definitive rovibrational quantum numbers were assigned for a large number of transitions and upper levels. The results showed good agreement with previous studies and made new assignments for previously unassigned transitions and new lines. This study contributes to the understanding of the spectroscopic properties of NH(3) molecule.

The absorption spectrum of ammonia between 5650 and 6350 cm-1

P. Cacciani et al.

Summary: A room temperature Fourier Transform absorption spectrum of ammonia measured in 1991 was analyzed in the 5650 - 6350 cm(-1) region, revealing the potential detection of ammonia as a trace species in the important atmospheric transparency window. A multiline fitting procedure was used to retrieve the centers and intensities of 2779 ammonia lines, resulting in 914 new experimental energies.
