Summary: This study discusses the frequency shift phenomenon of 129Xe and 131Xe in NMR sensors caused by weak temperature gradients. A new model based on thermal diffusion and relative concentration is proposed to explain this phenomenon, and simulations are conducted using COMSOL software. The results show good agreement with experimental data, providing a valuable reference for analyzing the frequency shift of NMR sensors under weak temperature gradients.

Summary: This article examines the importance of magnetic field shields for electronic equipment, ultrahigh-sensitivity sensors, and electrical instruments. It analyzes the calculation methods of longitudinal and transverse magnetic noise using loss separation. Experimental results confirm the feasibility of the model, and optimized parameters are obtained for reducing magnetic noise by analyzing the effect of structure parameters. The results show that longitudinal magnetic noise decreases with increasing aspect ratio, while transverse magnetic noise remains unchanged when the aspect ratio exceeds 1.

Summary: The approach presented utilizes EPR of spin-polarized K atoms to detect all three components of the residual magnetic field inside shielding, enabling the realization of a spin-exchange relaxation-free regime. Measurements are achieved through depopulation optical pumping and optically-detected peak of the K EPR spectrum. The EPR-based cross modulation method is employed to determine all three components of the residual field independently.

Summary: This study presents a high-frequency ultraweak magnetic field measurement method using a scalar rubidium atomic magnetometer. The Faraday rotation signal is enhanced by a simplified optical multipass cell. By employing continuous or burst sampling mode and precise control pulse sequences, high contrast atomic spin projection noise and free induction decay signals were observed.

Summary: This study focuses on analyzing and suppressing the magnetic noise response in the optical rotation detection system (ORDS) of atomic magnetometers. The research reveals the close relationship between the responses to magnetic noise and the DC magnetic field. By calculating the values of the DC magnetic fields using specific frequency points, referred to as "break points," it is possible to effectively suppress the magnetic noise responses. Through residual magnetic field compensation, the sensitivity of the ORDS is significantly improved, approximately two times higher at a frequency range of 10-20 Hz.

Summary: The effects of magnetic field gradient on the sensitivity improvement of optical pumping magnetometers (OPMs) under extremely low magnetic field conditions were investigated. By modifying the magnetic field gradient relaxation model, the study determined the gradient relaxation time and spin polarizations, and verified the accuracy of the improved model through experimental results. The study provides a theoretical and experimental basis for eliminating magnetic gradient relaxation in atomic sensors in the SERF region.

Summary: In this study, an alternative Rabi resonance-based microwave imaging technique using a digital micromirror device and an alkali atomic cell is proposed. The experimental results quantitatively describe the distribution of the microwave field and agree with the absorption imaging results. This technique can also analyze and measure the relaxation rate in an atomic vapor cell and provides a SI-traceable imaging approach for the microwave magnetic field. Its simple architecture holds great potential for the development of compact/miniature microwave field sensors.

Summary: This article introduces a modified pigeon-inspired optimization method for designing self-shielded uniform magnetic field coils, which provides innovation in miniature atomic sensors. The proposed coil system, consisting of circular coil pairs on two coaxial cylinder surfaces, offers a highly uniform magnetic field at the coil center and rapidly attenuates external field. By transforming the design into a nonlinear objective optimization problem with constraints, the algorithm presented in this study enables obtaining geometric parameters of the coils without solving closed-form equations through purely numerical methods. The method introduces parallel competition and hierarchical search strategy to accelerate convergence speed and prevent local optimal values, demonstrating accuracy, effectiveness, and convergence stability through comparative experiments with traditional design methods. The theoretical comparison also shows significant improvement in coil uniformity and self-shielding effect compared to the Lee-Whiting coil, benefiting the miniaturization of atomic sensors.

Summary: This study reports on the search for axion-like dark matter using a quantum sensor with enhanced potential signals. By utilizing hyperpolarized long-lived nuclear spins as pre-amplifiers, the study achieved ultrahigh magnetic sensitivity and constrained the parameter space of interactions between nucleons and axion-like particles. The experiment significantly improved on previous laboratory constraints and exceeded bounds from astrophysical observations.

Summary: In this study, the transverse-spin relaxations of Xe-129 due to diffusion in the presence of magnetic-field gradients were investigated in sub-cm sized cubic-like atomic gas cells with stems. The measured transverse-spin-relaxation rates in different cell sizes were used to extract the quadratic coefficients with respect to magnetic-field gradients. The effect of stem dimensions on the relaxation rate was analyzed, revealing the invariant ratio under scaling in cell size and diffusion coefficient changes.

Summary: In this experiment, the dependence of spin exchange rate on the intensity of pumping light was measured at different temperatures under low magnetic fields for the Rb-Xe spin-exchange optical pumping process. It was demonstrated that the spin-exchange rate decreases as the Rb spin polarization increases, in agreement with theoretical predictions. The three spin exchange and relaxation mechanisms were found to have comparable magnitudes in the measurements, providing a comprehensive confirmation of the physical picture of the process.
