Pt/TiO2-x nanofibrous aerogel for effective nitrogen reduction: A simple strategy for simultaneous Pt formation and TiO2-x vacancy engineering

Summary: This study presents a simple reduction method to simultaneously achieve the formation of Pt nanoparticles and the vacancy engineering of TiO2-x nanofibers. The resulting Pt/TiO2-x nanofibrous aerogel, with an ordered cellular architecture, exhibits high efficiency for electrocatalytic N-2 reduction reaction with excellent NH3 yield rate and Faraday efficiency.
