Establishment and application of multiple immunoassays for environmental estrogens based on recombinant Japanese flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) choriogenin protein

Yuejiao Li et al.

Summary: In this study, multiple immunoassay methods based on Japanese flounder choriogenin were developed and used to detect estrogenic activity in aquatic environments. The results showed that choriogenin is more sensitive than vitellogenin to environmental estrogens.

Quantitative assessment of AD markers using naked eyes: point-of-care testing with paper-based lateral flow immunoassay

Liding Zhang et al.

Summary: The research focuses on the development of a dual-target lateral flow immunoassay (dLFI) using anti-A beta(42) monoclonal antibodies 1F12 and 2C6 for the rapid detection of A beta Ms-42 and A beta Os-42 in blood samples within 30 minutes. By naked eye observation, the visual detection limit of A beta Ms-42 or/and A beta Os-42 in dLFI was 154 pg/mL. This paper-based dLFI provides a practical and rapid method for on-site detection of two biomarkers in blood or CSF samples without additional expertise or equipment.

Graphite-like carbon nitride-laden gold nanoparticles as signal amplification label for highly sensitive lateral flow immunoassay of 17β-estradiol

Xiaolin Yao et al.

Summary: A LFIA method utilizing graphite-like carbon nitride-laden gold nanoparticles was developed to enhance sensitivity for 17 beta-estradiol in foods, achieving a three-fold improvement in analytical performance compared to conventional gold nanoparticles-based LFIA. This method was successfully applied to detect estrogen in contaminated food samples, indicating great potential for its application in food products.
