Effects of plant-derived isoquinoline alkaloids on growth performance and intestinal function of broiler chickens under heat stress

Motoi Kikusato et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects of supplementation with plant-derived isoquinoline alkaloids on the growth performance, protein catabolism, intestinal barrier function, and inflammatory status of broiler chickens reared under heat stress conditions. Results showed that IQ supplementation improved growth performance and mitigated oxidative damage, protein catabolism, intestinal barrier function, and inflammation in broiler chickens under heat stress.

Dietary supplementation with acidifiers improves the growth performance, meat quality and intestinal health of broiler chickens

Chun-Qi Gao et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that dietary supplementation with acidifiers can enhance the growth performance, meat quality, and intestinal health of broiler chickens, with the effects of phosphoric acid at 0.1 g/kg and 0.2 g/kg being particularly effective.
