In-line small high-pressure sensors in anodically bonded microfluidic restrictors

Simon Sodergren et al.

Summary: High-pressure microflow chemistry has the potential advantages of being rapid, inexpensive, and accessible. However, there is still a lack of control over thermodynamic parameters during high-pressure processes due to the effect of existing external sensors causing an excessive increase in the system's internal and dead volumes. To address this issue, an approach for integrating an in-line pressure-flow-temperature sensor has been proposed, providing improved control of high-pressure microfluidics.

Etching mechanism of high-aspect-ratio array structure

Summary: Through the use of inductively coupled plasma (ICP), a deep silicon etching anisotropy can be achieved through Through-Silicon-Via (TSV) technology. The critical controllable process parameters including chamber pressure, Bosch process cycles, bias powers, and etching pattern size have been investigated for the formation of silicon-etching anisotropy.

Plasma kinetics of c-C4F8 inductively coupled plasma revisited

Dmitry Levko et al.

Summary: In this work, we improve the plasma kinetics of perfluorocyclobutane (c-C4F8) used in plasma etching applications. We discuss the deficiencies of existing plasma chemical reaction mechanisms and propose an approach to improve them. By comparing our self-consistent simulations with experimental results, we analyze the influence of various model parameters on plasma parameters and discuss how these parameters affect the kinetics of dominant plasma species.
