Diagnostic Accuracy of Transesophageal Echocardiographic Commissural-Biplane Approach in Identifying Mitral Valve Anatomy

Summary: The study compares the diagnostic accuracy of the commissural-biplane approach (CBA) and the conventional multiplane approach (MPA) in patients with severe mitral regurgitation. The results show that CBA has higher accuracy than MPA in identifying abnormal mitral valve leaflets, particularly in assessing the A2 segment.
