Effects of different ways of using visualizations on high school students' electrochemistry conceptual understanding and motivation towards chemistry learning

Chia-Yin Lin et al.

Summary: This study examined the effects of different visualization methods on high school students' electrochemistry conceptual understanding and motivation towards chemistry learning. Results showed that all instructional conditions improved students' conceptual understanding, with only the group generating animations showing increased motivation for chemistry learning. Between-group comparisons revealed no significant differences in conceptual understanding and motivation levels, suggesting that various visualization methods had a similar impact on students' learning outcomes.
