Preparation of CeVO4/BNNS catalyst and its application in oxidation desulfurization of diesel oil

Design of Zr-MOFs by Introducing Multiple Ligands for Efficient and Selective Capturing of Pb(II) from Aqueous Solutions

Summary: A novel metal-organic framework adsorbent (UiO-FHD) is developed, which efficiently and selectively captures lead ions by introducing multiple ligands. The maximum adsorption capacity of lead ions is 433.15 mg/g at pH 5. The adsorption process follows pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir isotherm models, and appropriate temperature reduction facilitates the removal of Pb(II). Performance tests show that UiO-FHD maintains a high removal rate of 90.35% for Pb(II) after four consecutive adsorption-desorption cycles.

Encapsulation of HPW and preparation of composites rich in Zr-defects by manual grinding: Synergistic catalysis for efficient oxidative desulfurization at room temperature

Summary: The development of catalysts with excellent performance in oxidative desulfurization at room temperature will greatly advance desulfurization technology. A novel and efficient strategy of incorporating HPW into UiO-66 through 4-aminopyridine molecular bridging and manual grinding was proposed to achieve stable PW loading and generate abundant defects, resulting in active complexes with strong oxidation ability. The prepared catalyst exhibited outstanding catalytic activity in the ODS system, achieving complete desulfurization in a short time at room temperature. The synergistic catalytic effect of the faulty UiO-66 and PW was identified as the main reason for the superior catalytic performance.

Oxygen vacancy regulation strategy in V-Nb mixed oxides catalyst for enhanced aerobic oxidative desulfurization performance

Ultrafine W2C well-dispersed on N-doped graphene: Extraordinary catalyst for ultrafast oxidative desulfurization of high sulfur liquid fuels

Summary: The ternary nanocomposite PW12-PEI/GO was developed as a precursor for the W2C/N-rGO catalyst, which exhibited extraordinary performance in deep oxidative desulfurization (ODS) of liquid fuel, particularly in the complete removal of DBT with high turnover frequency and low activation energy. Radical experiments and density functional theory calculations suggest that the ODS reaction mainly proceeds via a HO center dot radical mechanism. Furthermore, the W2C/N-rGO catalyst showed no obvious loss of performance after 6 cycles of recycling.

Preparation of new MOF-808/chitosan composite for Cr(VI) adsorption from aqueous solution: Experimental and DFT study
