Optoelectronic and vibrational properties of chalcogenides VCu3Q4 (Q= Se, Te) for potential p-type transparent conducting materials: HSE06 approach

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the optical properties of ternary chalcogenide alloys and compared the electronic structure and optical response of VCu3Te4 and VCu3Se4 using different density functional theory techniques. The results showed that these compounds can be applied as p-type transparent conducting materials in optoelectronics, and their stability was confirmed through lattice dynamic analysis.

Probing Optoelectronic and Thermoelectric Properties of Lead-Free Perovskite SnTiO3: HSE06 and Boltzmann Transport Calculations

Summary: This study investigates the potential of SnTiO3 as a material with promising optoelectronic properties. By using density functional theory, the researchers calculated the electronic structure, optical properties, and thermoelectric properties of SnTiO3. The findings suggest that SnTiO3 exhibits good thermoelectric performance at different temperatures and with doping.
