Polystyrene nanofibers as an effective sorbent for the adsorption of clonazepam: kinetic and thermodynamic studies

Jing An et al.

Summary: Polystyrene electrospun nanofibers were prepared and used for the adsorption of clonazepam from aqueous solution. The adsorption conditions were optimized and the kinetics and thermodynamic properties were studied. The results showed that PS electrospun nanofibers have good potential as an effective adsorbent material for the separation and purification of clonazepam from a water-soluble matrix.

Glutathione-stabilized Fe3O4 nanoparticles as the sorbent for magnetic solid-phase extraction of diazepam and sertraline from urine samples through quantitation via high-performance liquid chromatography

Milad Ghani et al.

Summary: This study introduces a method of microextraction using glutathione-coated magnetic nanocomposite, which was then analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection for diazepam and sertraline. After optimization, the method showed good linear range, low detection limits, good enrichment factors, and spiking recoveries.
