Influence on the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell using Cd doped ZnO via solvothermal method

Summary: In this study, Cd-doped ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by solvothermal irradiation method for fabricating ZnO-based dye-sensitized solar cells using ethanol as solvent. The prepared nanoparticles were characterized by various techniques. The results showed that Cd doping enhanced the light harvesting efficiency of the DSSC, confirming the value of Cd-doped ZnO nanoparticles as a material for solar cell applications.

Surfactant assisted reactive crystallization of cobalt oxide nanoparticles in a tubular microreactor: effects of precursor concentrations and type of surfactants

The effects of precursor concentrations, flow rate, and surfactant type on particle size distribution were investigated. Effect of calcination temperature on morphology and phase transformation of MnO2 nanoparticles: A step towards green synthesis for reactive dye adsorption

Various characterization techniques were employed to analyze the nanoparticles. The adsorption efficiency of MnO2 nanoparticles for Reactive Blue 21 dye was found to be 98% at pH 3.0, following pseudo second order kinetics and fitting well with the Freundlich isotherm model.
