Novel Electrochemical Sensor Based on Electropolymerized Dopamine Molecularly Imprinted Polymer for Selective Detection of Pantoprazole

Mahmoud Roushani et al.

Summary: A novel electrochemical sensor for the determination of Pantoprazole (PAN) was prepared by electropolymerization of dopamine (DA) on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The sensor showed acceptable reproducibility, sensitivity, and selectivity, with a linear range of 0.005 to 1.2 μM and a limit of detection of 1.3 nM. The proposed sensor was successfully used to detect PAN in blood serum samples.

Synthesis, characterization and application of spherical and uniform molecularly imprinted polymeric nanobeads as efficient sorbent for selective extraction of rosmarinic acid from plant matrix

Sara Alipour et al.

Summary: This study synthesized uniform and spherical molecularly imprinted polymeric (MIP) nanobeads for selective and efficient preconcentration of Rosmarinic acid (RA). The nanobeads were characterized using FTIR, SEM, and BET techniques, and showed nano-sized particles with an average size of 88 nm. The prepared MIP nanobeads were successfully used in ultrasonic-assisted dispersive solid phase extraction (UA-DSPE) for selective extraction of RA from Salvia Officinalis leaves extract, with highest recovery rate observed.
