An investigation of maximum experimental safety gap of CH4-H2 blended fuel at different initial pressures

Liu Rui et al.

Summary: The study measured the maximum experimental safety gap (MESG) of CH4-H2 mixtures at different initial pressures, and found that the classification of mixtures changed with an increase in hydrogen fraction. A new formula based on laminar flame velocity and initial pressure was proposed for easier calculation of MESG for CH4-H2 mixtures.
