Summary: This study synthesized gold nanoparticles with a size of 25.31 nm using Hylocereus polyrhizus (Red Pitaya) extract as a reducing and stabilizing agent. The nanoparticles showed biocompatibility and physiological stability, and exhibited therapeutic effects in various biological assays. In addition, the nanoparticles demonstrated dose-dependent cytotoxic activity against HCT-116, HepG2, and MCF-7 cell lines.
