Ultra-trace detection and efficient adsorption removal of multiple water-soluble volatile organic compounds by fluorescent sensor array

Huachao Che et al.

Summary: Considering the extremely low concentration, complex composition and easy conversion of water-soluble volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in water and air, traditional detection technology, pollution control, and traceability face significant challenges. Consequently, there is a pressing need to develop a convenient, rapid, and on-site method for simultaneous quantification of multiple VOCs. In this study, a multifunctional sensor array with VOC adsorption and sensing capabilities was constructed using four fluorescence channels of small-sized Eu@Uio-66 and Tb@Uio-66. Due to the cross-reactive characteristics between the fluorescence channels and VOCs, the sensor array could detect eight VOCs simultaneously with detection limits as low as ppb level. Furthermore, the detection results for actual water samples containing multiple VOCs confirmed the strong anti-interference performance of the sensor array for simultaneous detection of VOCs in real water. The construction of the VOC adsorption-functional sensor array not only helps to reduce the detection limits of VOCs through material pre-concentration but also holds significant value in reducing the harmfulness of pollutants. Predictably, this work is of great significance for VOC traceability, ecotoxicological effects analysis, and pollution distribution monitoring.

Synthesis and Evaluation of 68Ga-NOTA-COG1410 Targeting to TREM2 of TAMs as a Specific PET Probe for Digestive Tumor Diagnosis

Dai Shi et al.

Summary: This study confirmed the high expression of TREM2 in tumors and successfully synthesized the radioligand Ga-68-NOTA-COG1410 targeting TREM2. The radioligand showed high uptake in tumors and not in areas of inflammation, making it useful for distinguishing tumors from inflammation. The use of Ga-68-NOTA-COG1410 may enhance the effectiveness of PET imaging of digestive system tumors.
