Pay (for it) as you go: Prepaid energy meters and the heat-or-eat dilemma

Summary: This study contributes to the literature by examining the role of domestic energy prepayment meters (PPMs) in the heat-or-eat dilemma and finds that individuals using PPMs have lower fruit and vegetable consumption. On average, they consume 2.7 fewer portions per week. Targeted support for PPM users may have positive effects on people's fruit and vegetable consumption patterns.
