Expired milk powder emulsion-derived carbonaceous framework/Si composite as efficient anode for lithium-ion batteries

Summary: Silicon/carbon composites with N, P codoped carbonaceous framework and carbon-coated silicon were prepared using expired milk powder as a carbon source. The carbon skeleton and shell improved the conductivity of silicon, stabilized the solid electrolyte interfaces, and alleviated the volume expansion of silicon. The composite electrodes showed excellent cycling stability and rate capability, with reversible capacity maintained at 587.3 and 731.2 mAh g-1 after 1000 charge/discharge cycles for FPC@Si and NPC@Si, respectively.

Novel Insight into Rechargeable Aluminum Batteries with Promising Selenium Sulfide@Carbon Nanofibers Cathode
