Nano-fiber-structured Cantor alloy films prepared by sputtering

Yuanying Yue et al.

Summary: This study investigates the composition, microstructure, and mechanical properties of Cantor alloy films deposited at different sputtering powers using DC magnetron sputtering. The results show that the films exhibit a nano-fiber-structured growth pattern and higher hardness with increasing sputtering power, indicating their potential as high-hardness wear-resistant coatings.
