MetaDOCK: A Combinatorial Molecular Docking Approach

Izaz Monir Kamal et al.

Summary: Molecular docking plays a crucial role in drug screening and discovery, and there is room for improvement in the existing algorithms. In this study, a combination docking approach using AutoDock4.2, LeDock, and rDOCK programs was proposed, which showed better performance compared to reference programs. Rigorous benchmarking analyses and simulations supported the superior performance of the proposed approach. The MetaDOCK approach provides a cost-effective alternative for the scientific community.
