Summary: Under the guidance of the World Stroke Organization, a review of stroke guidelines worldwide was conducted to summarize the recommendations for the management of stroke patients. The review identified strong consensus in areas such as acute treatment, secondary prevention, and rehabilitation. However, there was a need for greater collaboration, consideration of comorbidities and implementation issues in future guideline development.

(-)-OSU6162 in the treatment of fatigue and other sequelae after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage: a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study

Summary: This study investigated the efficacy of (-)-OSU6162 in alleviating fatigue and other sequelae after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH). The results showed that (-)-OSU6162 significantly improved fatigue, especially in patients who were able to return to work. There also appeared to be synergistic effects between (-)-OSU6162 and medications interfering with dopaminergic pathways.
