Temporalis MuscleThickness as an Indicator of Sarcopenia Is Associated With Long-term Motor Outcomes in Parkinson's Disease

Seok Jong Chung et al.

Summary: This study investigated the relationship between temporalis muscle thickness (TMT) and long-term motor outcomes in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients. Results showed that male PD patients had higher TMT, and higher TMT at baseline was associated with slower increases in dopaminergic medication requirement in male PD patients.
