Evaluating new energy vehicles by picture fuzzy sets based on sentiment analysis from online reviews

Shifan He et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the evaluation of new energy vehicles (NEVs) through online reviews. Online reviews are collected using data crawling technology and a data-driven method is used to extract attributes and conduct sentiment analysis. A new information transformation mechanism is proposed to convert unstructured data into picture fuzzy numbers. Weight determination and regret theory are also applied for attribute weighting and quantifying consumer behavior. A case study and discussions are provided to demonstrate the implementation and superiority of the proposed evaluation method.

Decision-making based on probabilistic linguistic term sets without loss of information

Zhihong Yi

Summary: The paper introduces a new model for Probabilistic Linguistic Term Sets (PLTS), which does not require normalization to avoid information loss. By incorporating multiple probability distributions, the new PLTS includes different attitudes and deviations of Decision Makers (DMs), and proposes a multiple attributes decision-making method based on DEMATEL.

A q-rung orthopair fuzzy decision-making model with new score function and best-worst method for manufacturer selection

Liming Xiao et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the importance of selecting the appropriate manufacturer in customized product development. A novel q-rung orthopair fuzzy (q-ROF) score function is proposed to measure q-ROF values, addressing deficiencies in existing score functions. A new q-ROF-BWM is presented to determine fuzzy criteria weights based on q-ROF preference relations. Additionally, an improved WASPAS with q-ROF settings is introduced, and an integrated q-ROF-BWM-WASPAS model is developed to rank manufacturers. A case study, sensitivity analysis, and comparisons are conducted to validate the usefulness of the model.

Environmental, Social and Governance Investing Assessment Under Incomplete Information by the Power Aggregation Model on Probabilistic Linguistic Terms

Zhihong Yi et al.

Summary: ESG investing is a popular strategy in global financial markets, but evaluating ESG performance faces challenges due to incomplete information, subjective judgments, and multiple attribute decision-making problems. To address these issues, we propose a new MAGDM model based on PLTs, which effectively aggregates information in ambiguous markets.
