Different synthetic routes and structures of copper complexes with diamine-based N4 donor bis-pyridine Schiff base ligands are reviewed, and their structures and magnetic properties are discussed in detail. Copper shows either octahedral or square pyramidal geometry in the mononuclear complexes. The review also includes the applications of these complexes.
Different synthetic routes and structures of several copper complexes with several diamine-based N4 donor bis-pyridine Schiff base ligands have been gathered. Their structures and magnetic properties have been discussed in detail. In the mononuclear complexes, copper shows either octahedral or square pyramidal geometry. The ap-plications of the complexes have also been included in the review.
