Green supplier selection and order allocation using linguistic Z-numbers MULTIMOORA method and bi-objective non-linear programming

Ling Gai et al.

Summary: This paper proposes an integrated two-stage multiple criteria programming approach to solve the problems of supplier selection and order allocation in green supply chain management. The approach includes both quantitative and qualitative analyses, employing the MULTIMOORA method and a bi-objective non-linear integer programming model. The research results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve consistency among objectives.

A new method for intuitionistic fuzzy multi-objective linear fractional optimization problem and its application in agricultural land allocation problem

Demmelash Mollalign Moges et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a new method for solving an intuitionistic fuzzy multi-objective linear fractional optimization problem with crisp and intuitionistic fuzzy constraints. The method converts the problem into a crisp multi-objective linear optimization problem using an accuracy ranking function and variable transformation. It then formulates a weighted intuitionistic fuzzy goal programming model to obtain an intuitionistic fuzzy non-dominant solution. Additionally, the study addresses the issue of the IFND solution not being Pareto-optimal when some under-deviation variables are zero by applying a second phase of the WIFGP model.

Sustainable supplier selection using an intuitionistic and interval-valued fuzzy MCDM approach based on cumulative prospect theory

Naijie Chai et al.

Summary: The sustainable supplier selection process involves a lot of uncertain information, which cannot be perfectly described by traditional fuzzy sets. Therefore, this study develops a novel fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making approach based on intuitionistic fuzzy sets, interval-valued fuzzy sets, and cumulative prospect theory for selecting the most sustainable supplier.

Observer-Based Adaptive Fuzzy Command Filtered Backstepping Control for Stochastic Nonlinear Systems with Event-Triggered Mechanism

Qian Wang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the application of adaptive fuzzy command filtered backstepping and event-triggered strategy in stochastic nonlinear systems. The presence of unknown functions and unmeasured states is evaluated using fuzzy logic systems and fuzzy state observers. In the controller design, an adaptive tracking scheme is proposed to overcome complexity explosion problem by command filtering control technique, and compensation signals are designed to eliminate errors resulting from command filters. Finally, an improved event-triggered co-design control scheme reduces the communication burden by having a variable threshold. The proposed fuzzy adaptive control approach guarantees that all signals in the closed-loop system are uniformly and ultimately bounded, and the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. The feasibility of the control method is demonstrated through simulation results.

A Multi-period Fuzzy Portfolio Optimization Model with Short Selling Constraints

Xing-Yu Yang et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the multi-period portfolio problem with short selling under fuzzy environment. Three types of short selling constraints are proposed, and a multi-period possibilistic mean-semi-variance portfolio selection model with multiple short selling constraints is established. A multiple particle swarm optimization with simulated annealing is designed to solve the model. The results show that short selling has a significant impact on investment decisions, and the proposed model can help investors improve their investment return by constructing portfolio strategies with short selling.
