Reconfigurable Rectifier-Based Detuned Series-Series Compensated IPT System for Anti-Misalignment and Efficiency Improvement

Yang Chen et al.

Summary: A reconfigurable rectifier-based detuned series-series (SS) compensated IPT system is proposed to improve the system efficiency and tolerate a wide coupling range. The reconfigurable rectifier can switch between a full-bridge rectifier mode and a half-bridge rectifier mode to extend the expected coupling range of the detuned SS topology. The system efficiency is also improved by changing the ac load to match the optimal load of the IPT system.

Dual-Loop Control Method for CPT System Under Coupling Misalignments and Load Variations

Xiaodong Qing et al.

Summary: This article proposes a dual-loop control CPT system to reduce the impact of coupling misalignment and load variation. The frequency tuning is achieved by tracking the input and output voltage, allowing for accurate tracking of the CV frequency and avoiding operation at other resonant frequencies. Experimental results show that the CPT system can operate in a load-independent CC/CV mode and control the output voltage/current within 2% error even with variations in load resistance and coupling misalignment.

Series Filter Computational Method for CCM Recovery in Double Side LCC WPT System

Weihan Li et al.

Summary: This article introduces the characteristics and applications of the fundamental harmonic analysis (FHA) model, which is widely used in wireless power transfer. Due to the compact form of the model's equivalent resistance, a circular design process may be required when designing the resonant tank parameters. To address this issue, the article proposes an effective solution of adding a series LC filter on the secondary side, and provides a computational method for determining the required minimum filter parameter.
