A new microengine-based built-in-platform exploiting a surprising dual action with solution mixing and control of the reaction parameters, has been applied for accelerating chemical reactions (organophosphorous nerve agents hydrolysis) and electrochemical detection of nonhazardous by-product (p-nitrophenol) using printable sensor strip.
