Summary: This study investigates the effects of stimulus number for steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP)-based brain-computer interface (BCI) in an augmented reality (AR) context. The findings suggest that increasing the stimulus number decreases the recognition accuracy of AR-SSVEP but not CS-SSVEP. The SSVEP signal in AR glasses also has a lower signal-to-noise ratio compared to a computer screen.
