Complex amplitude domain filtering for phase measurement in speckle interferometric optics

Summary: Phase map filtering is a crucial process in speckle interferometric optics measurement. The conventional sine-cosine domain filtering framework consumes a significant amount of calculation resources, limiting the temporal property of measurements. To address this issue, a new filtering domain called complex amplitude domain filtering is proposed. This domain offers a good filtering efficiency, preserves details, and does not generate additional phase shifts during filtering. Preliminary experiments show that the proposed complex amplitude domain filtering accelerates the filtering process by at least 40% without sacrificing filtering quality, especially with the PDE noise reduction method.
