Summary: Pompano is an important economic marine fish in the south coast of China. The research on the basic biology of pompano is currently weak, affecting its development. This study investigated the effects of sbGnRH peptides on the physiology and metabolic enzyme activities of pompano liver, and analyzed the differences in gene expression after injection of sbGnRH peptides through transcriptome sequencing. The results provide a theoretical basis for studying the effects of sbGnRH on liver physiology, biochemistry, and metabolic enzyme activities in pompano.
