A digital decision approach for scheduling process planning of shared bikes under Internet of Things environment

Xianyu Wu et al.

Summary: Digital technology plays a crucial role in the development of intelligent transportation systems, improving efficiency, equality, and safety of urban mobility through the digitization of travel and traffic information. This research addresses the imbalance between supply and demand in bike-sharing systems by proposing a scheduling process planning algorithm for shared bikes in an Internet of Things (IoT) environment. The algorithm utilizes IoT data, Long Short-Term Memory, and Gated Recurrent Unit neural networks to predict bike demand and optimizes scheduling paths considering constraints, costs, and minimizing carbon emissions. A case study in Yanqing District, Beijing, demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm in achieving low-carbon and sustainable development for urban transportation.

Mining relevant partial periodic pattern of multi-source time series data

Yaling Xun et al.

Summary: Traditional partial periodic pattern mining algorithms tend to work on a single time series or database. This article proposes a new pattern-relevant partial periodic patterns and its mining algorithm, which can effectively reflect and mine the correlations of multi-source time series data. The algorithm quickly identifies important patterns by introducing the contribution difference of various patterns, and utilizes an improved mining algorithm to obtain frequent partial periodic patterns. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in sparse databases.
