Summary: This article investigates the MHD Jeffrey fluid flow over a stretching cylinder with convection. The Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model is used instead of the Fourier law of heat conduction to derive an energy equation. The mathematical model leads to a system of nonlinear PDEs in cylindrical coordinates, which are transformed into ordinary differential equations using similarity transformations. The numerical solutions are obtained using shooting and BVP4C methods, and the results are validated. The effects of different parameters on velocity, temperature, and concentration are analyzed through graphs, and the skin-friction coefficient, local Nusselt and Schmidt numbers are discussed and tabulated. The novelty of this work lies in the study of Cattaneo-Christov MHD heat flux for Jeffrey fluid flow with convective conditions.

Summary: This study investigates the magnetized convection flow of Reiner-Rivlin nanomaterial over a stretched sheet using the Cattaneo-Christov double diffusive analysis. The Cattaneo-Christov models are used to discuss more accurate concentration and temperature distributions with solutal and thermal relaxation times. The results reveal that a longer solutal relaxation time leads to a decrease in concentration.

Summary: This article addresses the issue of hydromagnetic mixed convective flow conveying tiny particles obeying the constitutive relations of Reiner-Rivlin. The flow by a stretching cylinder is modeled, and an applied magnetic field is considered. The formulation is based on the fluxes by the Cattaneo-Christov relation, while the thermal expression includes viscous dissipation and Ohmic heating. The study utilizes the Buongiorno model to explore the significance of nanoliquid and incorporates a physical illustration of entropy rate. The governing expressions are reduced to a non-dimensional system, and the solutions are developed using the optimal homotopy analysis approach (OHAM). Graphical descriptions of various influential variables are organized, showing enhanced velocity and entropy rate for curvature. The magnetic field has a reverse impact on flow and temperature, and the thermal relaxation time variable increases the thermal field. Decrease in concentration occurs through Schmidt number, while the Brinkman number augments the entropy rate. Opposite characteristics are observed for the entropy rate through magnetic and temperature difference variables, and a decrease in concentration is detected against the random motion variable. An increase in temperature occurs for the thermophoresis variable.

Summary: The Catteno-Christov heat flux plays a major role in the flow and heat transport of non-Newtonian fluids in various industrial and engineering applications. This study investigates the characteristics of homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions in the axisymmetric flow of Oldroyd-B materials using heat conduction analysis. The governing flow field equations are derived using the rheological formulation of the Oldroyd-B fluid model, and the series solutions for the velocity, thermal, and solutal distribution are obtained. The findings reveal the behavior of relevant parameters and their effects on the flow, temperature, and concentration distributions.

Summary: This study investigates the dynamics of bioconvective MHD hybrid nanofluid flow over an exponentially stretching permeable surface, considering thermal radiation, heat generation, chemical reaction, porosity, and dissipative effects. The results show that an increase in the porosity parameter leads to an increase in temperature and a decrease in velocity. The temperature profile is proportional to the radiation parameter, magnetic field parameter, Eckert number, and volume fraction of TiO2 and Ag nanoparticles. The mass transfer rate and motile density number increase with higher values of the chemical reaction parameter.

Summary: This study aims to analyze the behavior of rotating Prandtl nanofluid on a stretchable surface, considering the effects of MHD, variable species diffusivity, nonlinear warm radiation, convective limit conditions, velocity slip, and chemical reaction. The Buongiorno model is used to capture the impacts of Brownian movement and thermophoresis caused by nanofluids. The governing differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations and solved numerically using the shooting technique. The results show enhanced temperature profile due to increased temperature convection boundary, and improved mass fraction field with better species diffusivity.

Summary: This investigation explores the enhancement of thermal characteristics in a hybrid nanoliquid, which has important applications in industries such as coolant for electrical devices and heat exchangers. The study considers the three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic flow of partially ionized hybrid nanofluids over a stretching sheet. The results show that increasing Hall current and ion-slip number enhance the primary velocities of the hybrid nanofluids, while higher Hartmann number decreases the velocities. On the other hand, larger Hall current and stretching parameter increase the velocities, while increasing ion-slip number and Hartmann number have the opposite effects. The temperature profiles of the hybrid nanofluids weaken for thermal relaxation time parameter and increase for higher thermal Biot number. The water-based hybrid nanofluid is more influenced by the embedded parameters compared to the kerosene oil-based hybrid nanofluid.
