Trichoderma Biomass as an Alternative for Removal of Congo Red and Malachite Green Industrial Dyes

Rosalba Argumedo-Delira et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the removal efficiency of two dyes, Congo red and malachite green, using fresh or dry fungal biomass of two species of Trichoderma and activated carbon. Results showed that fresh biomass had higher removal efficiency for Congo red dye, while activated carbon was more suitable for removing malachite green dye.
