One new genus of Braconidae (subfamily incertae sedis), Vertibracon gen. nov., with its type species Vertibracon brevistigma sp. nov., and one new species of the genus Tibialobracon van Achterberg & Chen, 2021 (Braconidae, Protobraconinae), Tibialobracon laevis sp. nov. are described from mid-Cretaceous amber of northern Myanmar. An updated key to genera of Braconidae found in Cretaceous ambers, including Vertibracon gen. nov., is provided in this study.
