Studies on titanium oxide nanoparticles as fuel additive for improving performance and combustion parameters of CI engine fueled with biodiesel blends

S. Sunil et al.

Summary: In this study, dairy scum is transesterified to obtain biodiesel, which is then blended with petro diesel in a 20% proportion. Titanium oxide nanoparticles are produced using the sol-gel technique and dispersed in the fuel samples. The prepared fuel samples meet ASTM norms and demonstrate higher thermal efficiency compared to diesel.
