Experimental speciation study of natural gas oxidation using a single pulse shock tube

Jai M. Mehta et al.

Summary: An experimental shock tube study was carried out to investigate the oxidation of natural gas under various conditions. The results showed inconsistency between temperature-dependent species yields measured in experiments and predictions from chemical kinetic models, suggesting the need for optimization of models using comprehensive experimental data before use.
