68Ga-Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen PET/CT in Ovarian Tumors Potential to Differentiate Benign and Malignant Tumors Before Surgery: A Preliminary Report

Jolanta Kunikowska et al.

Summary: The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of using Ga-68-PSMA-11 PET/CT in detecting ovarian neoplasms before surgical treatment. The results suggest that Ga-68-PSMA-11 PET/CT has the potential to differentiate malignant and benign tumors before surgery.

Diagnostic Accuracy of PET/CT or PET/MRI Using PSMA-Targeting Radiopharmaceuticals in High-Grade Gliomas: A Systematic Review and a Bivariate Meta-Analysis

Barbara Muoio et al.

Summary: The diagnostic accuracy of PET/CT or PET/MRI with PSMA-targeting radiopharmaceuticals in high-grade gliomas (HGG) is high, with a sensitivity of 98.2% and specificity of 91.2%. However, more studies are needed to confirm its promising role in this clinical setting.

[68Ga]Ga-Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen PET/CT: a novel method for imaging patients with hepatocellular carcinoma

Jolanta Kunikowska et al.

Summary: The study found that [Ga-68]Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT imaging can effectively detect PSMA expression in patients with HCC and guide treatment strategies. PET/CT results changed the treatment strategy in 33% of the patients, showing visible heterogeneity of PSMA staining in HCC.

Hemangioblastoma An Unsuspected Pitfall in PSMA PET/CT

Nicolas Gohimont et al.

Summary: Hemangioblastoma is the most common primary intra-axial posterior fossa tumor in adults, and in this case, the intense overexpression of PSMA in tumor-associated vascular structures may explain the abnormal findings in PSMA PET/CT.
