In-situ self-templating construction of FeNi/N co-doped 3D porous carbon from bimetallic ions-coordinated porous organic polymer for rechargeable zinc-air batteries

Summary: In this study, a self-templating approach was used to construct FeNi/N co-doped 3D porous carbon with outstanding electrocatalytic activities in oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER). The FeNi/N-C-800 catalyst exhibited a high half-wave potential of 0.845 V in ORR and a low potential of 1.600 V at 10 mA cm-2 in OER. It also demonstrated long cycling life and improved stability in rechargeable zinc-air batteries.

Hierarchically Nanostructured Solid-State Electrolyte for Flexible Rechargeable Zinc-Air Batteries

Summary: The construction of safe and environmentally-benign solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) for flexible zinc-air batteries is highly desirable. In this study, hierarchically nanostructured CCNF-PDIL SSEs with reinforced concrete architecture were successfully developed, showing good flexibility, mechanical robustness, and high ion conductivity. The resulting flexible solid-state zinc-air batteries exhibited superior performance compared to state-of-the-art batteries.

Two-Dimensional Organometallic Frameworks with Pyridinic Single-Metal-Atom Sites for Bifunctional ORR/OER

A new steric tetra-imidazole for facile synthesis of high loading atomically dispersed FeN4 electrocatalysts
